As a member of the Marketing team, the Business Development Representative’s primary focus will be representing Fluxx’s product and generating leads. You will be responsible for building relationships with cold and warm prospects, continuously identifying best practices to refine the company’s go-to-market playbook. You possess strong organizational skills and exhibit superb communication skills via phone and email. 

The ideal candidate prefers a fast-paced startup environment within a purpose-driven organization. This role will work fully remote and report to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing. 

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain deep understanding of Fluxx’s product, market and key messages by persona
  • Manage and run outbound/prospecting campaigns by utilizing multiple channels including LinkedIn, phone, and email to generate new qualified sales conversations (this will also include video tools such as Consensus)
  • Through training and self-learning develop the ability to deliver initial demo’s of the Fluxx solution
  • Qualify and engage inbound leads to maximize demos scheduled and drive MQL’s
  • Proactively source new leads in the market
  • Maintain up to date data in BDR and CRM systems utilizing current systems of record and additional data enrichment sources (e.g. ZoomInfo, Apollo)
  • Document enablement content such as objection handling, email templates, call scripts
  • Report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly results and work with leadership to identify trends, patterns

What you bring to to team:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of BDR / SDR / Sales / Marketing experience in SaaS, with a history of exceeding targets
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot or other CRM software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills via phone, email and video conferencing (including pre-recorded video messaging to prospects)
  • Experience with outbound prospecting
  • Proven ability to manage time and balance multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to produce segmented prospect lists from CRM systems and data enrichment platforms
  • Strong desire and ability to grow and adapt within the organization
  • Passion for Fluxx’s purpose (our mission) to be the leading collaborative grantmaking platform that amplifies impact in our global communities 

Nice to haves (these are not required): 

  • Experience with Philanthropy / Non-Profit sector

Salary:

The expected salary range for this role is $55-$70 OTE. The base pay range is subject to change in the future.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to (a) location; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience. 

Fluxx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic location and our compensation philosophy.
