Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Back-End Blockchain Engineer to join our growing Digital Assets Technology team in Amsterdam.  The ideal candidate is curious, methodical and a multi-tasker. What you will do

You will work closely with trading desks and deliver fitting solutions for DEX Trading. We expect you to be able to push the team to grow our Blockchain understanding and bring in protocol specific knowledge & best practices. To enable that, we strive to follow the best software engineering practices and are supported by the best working environment, latest technology and continuous support from all parts of Flow Traders organization.

You will also advance your scripting skills by working together with the Digital Assets desks to identify and implement ways to accelerate it's growth.

 

What you need to succeed

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, IT or any Engineering Field
  • 2 years + of commercial experience 
  • Strong knowledge in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Java)
  • Experience in DeFi 
  • Blockchain knowledge (nodes, PoW, PoS, Web3)
  • Smart contracts knowledge (Solidity, Rust) 
  • Cloud experience
