Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Compliance Advisory Officer to join our Compliance team in Amsterdam. We are looking for a colleague who is a self-starter, flexible and driven. In this role you will contribute with your expertise in advising internal clients on compliance matters related to capital markets. You will be able to assess impact and draft clear and hands-on advice on upcoming regulatory change impact and implementation, taking into account the needs of the business.
What you will do
- Analyze existing and new regulations, provide advice on the impact and formulate clear business requirements
- Be a first point of contact from compliance for our trading department to advise on compliance aspects
- Participate in and contribute to business development projects
- Engage with our regulatory stakeholders (regulators, exchanges) and respond to regulatory requests and internal/external audits
- Provide training across the organization on compliance related topics
What you need to succeed
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- University degree in Law, Business Administration, or similar
- Profound and proven knowledge of European regulatory environment (MiFID/ MiFIR, EMIR, SSR, MAR, CSDR, etc.)
- Experience advising an organization in a global financial environment
- Digital-assets knowledge desirable but not essential
- Knowledge and experience of financial instruments and working in an exchange trading environment
- Personality that thrives in a fast-paced environment and fits in an Agile company culture
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to assess complex situations quickly without being affected by (time) pressure
