Based in the heart of NYC, we're on the hunt for a Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead our Go to Market organization. As our CBO, you'll be the conductor of revenue, aligning sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships into a revenue-generating powerhouse.  Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's commercial success.

  • Innovate Revenue Operations & Products: Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to align product development with market demand, ensuring that the company's offerings meet and exceed customer expectations.  Implement AI and other machine-based enhancements to revenue strategy, operations, and execution.
  • Become a C-suite thought leader: Collaborate with the executive team to define the company's vision and translate it into actionable revenue strategies - and represent Flowcode at public and industry events.
  • Be the interface point with global brands and influencers: the NBA, NFL, NHL, etc

Additional Responsibilities

As the CBO at Flowcode, you will also be responsible for the following:

  • Define target markets, identify key customer segments, and drive initiatives to acquire, retain, and expand the customer base.
  • Optimize pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies to drive revenue growth while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
  • Implement and manage robust sales processes and systems, leveraging data analytics and insights to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Partner with the customer success team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis for the executive team and the board of directors on key performance metrics, revenue forecasts, and sales pipeline, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to drive innovation and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Be a high functioning and engaged leader on the Flowcode executive team and across the entire organization

Qualifications:

  • Have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, exceeding revenue targets and scaling B2B SaaS and/or performance-based businesses, ideally within a high-growth startup environment.
  • Have extensive experience operationalizing sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Have an engaging leadership style that inspires and motivates teams to achieve the impossible.
  • Are a relentless competitor with an insatiable hunger for success of the company and your team.
  • Have a strong understanding of the B2B SaaS market, customer acquisition and retention strategies, and revenue generation best practices.
  • Are a data-driven, strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into action, and develop and execute revenue generation plans that align with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Have exceptional communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive and innovative approach to identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other relevant technology platforms to drive sales and revenue effectiveness.
