The Job
Partnering with security colleagues and business stakeholders, in this role you will aid Flo to design and implement friction free security solutions and controls that enable us to build, grow and deliver a trusted, secure platform, for the millions of users choosing Flo’s world leading women’s health app.
The Security Architecture and Risk Lead will partner with the business, to design secure systems environments, and embed security controls that mitigate risks within engineering and wider business processes, and third party solutions being implemented.
You will lead the security risk management domain, working with the Security Risk and Controls Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand context, and support the business to identify, understand and manage security risks, underpinning well informed risk and value based prioritization decisions. You will ensure controls are designed to reduce friction and enable Flo to work in a fast, safe and secure way.
Your Experience
Must have:
- An information security engineer / architect with at least 10 years experience working across security domains (including Security Risk Management, and/or Security Management, and Security Architecture domains).
- Strong command of (Secure) Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) best practices, including: security requirements, threat modelling, security testing, application security review, and securing CI/CD pipelines.
- Sound understanding of cloud security best practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Experience in identifying and analyzing security risks and working knowledge of leading security risk management methodologies.
- Strong management experience, including excellent influencing and communications skills.
Nice to have:
- Relevant security industry certification or academic qualification (e.g. MSc Information Security, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)).
- Experience in supporting security audits, including certification processes.
- Knowledge of a variety of security control frameworks.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing security patterns and standards.
- Working with stakeholders to establish security tooling and capability requirements and ensure security tools align with short and longer-term goals.
- Working with relevant stakeholders to continue to evolve Flo’s security risk management framework and processes, to ensure a transparent, practical and pragmatic approach to manage risk is taken, and is embedded consistently within processes across the business.
- Ensuring that security risk management processes and the consideration of security risks support business planning and the effective prioritization of security initiatives.
- Performing security assessments of third party solutions, making actionable recommendations that enable the business to work with vendors and adopt third-party solutions in a secure manner.
- Developing and implementing a software risk analysis framework to actively manage residual product security risks.
- Supporting ISPMS monitoring programmes, including internal security audits, technical compliance checks and control maturity assessments.
- Working with the wider security team to continually review, develop and rollout security training and awareness programme materials and campaigns.
- Supporting and advising business stakeholders in relation to security issues.
- Advising and coaching other team members to aid their technical and team development.
- Pro-actively investigating and maintaining a good knowledge of the cyber technology landscape and best practice to identify improvements.
You'll be targeted on:
- Establish and embedding security patterns and standards.
- Reduce security risks.
- Drive up engagement with business stakeholders, including business process and asset owners.
- Provide practical subject matter expertise and support.
- Be a proactive team player that delivers on assigned targets, with a positive and collaborative approach.
The salary range for this role starts from €8000 gross/month. #LI-Hybrid #LI-LM12
