What you’ll be doing
- Leading and being accountable for the vision, strategy, and results of brand positioning and campaigns, harmonizing a clear brand message across all channels, online and offline.
- Developing a framework for Flo’s growing investment in brand & comms led initiatives, from measuring output and ROI to partnering with the finance and data teams.
- Owning and leading the communications strategy, creating a strong consultative network with the Marketing, Medical Science and Product Teams
- Developing a strategy for elevating Flo’s inspiring case studies in the media, to highlight how much more Flo can do than simply tracking your cycle
- Leading and coaching a team of talented PR/Comms and Brand teams to deliver cohesive campaigns that deliver the message of Flo’s purpose and value proposition
- Developing the strategy to use brand-led initiatives for customer growth, from inspiring brand ads to scrappy homegrown tactics
- Owning and developing Flo’s prosocial strategy, determining how our Product can make the biggest impact to those in need, and how to amplify that story
- Partnering with other teams in the business to ensure the Flo brand is cohesively represented across multiple channels
- Partnering with the exec team to ensure Flo’s corporate communications reflect and augment the company mission, and that Flo is as prepared as possible for media-related events
- Partnering with external agencies and internal creative team to bring the best ideas to light
- Where necessary, acting as a company spokesperson
What we’re looking for
- 12+ years of experience managing highly engaging B2C brands. Health & Fitness, Sports, Fashion brands as an advantage
- 7+ years in leadership roles
- A passion for for creating a better future for female health, and and understanding of how our femtech products can deliver on that purpose
- A deep understanding of public relations, and what makes a great narrative for the media
- Customer obsession, determined about delivering incredible customer experience
- Brilliant stakeholder & communication skills - you can unite and manage strong wills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and take ownership, strong creative problem-solving skills
- Resourceful, optimistic, tenacious, confident, and full of energy
- Ambitious, results-driven with a bias to action. You have a can-do-more approach, a passion for making an impact and exceeding your goals
