The Legal and Compliance Team handles a wide variety of legal and regulatory issues at Flo — from managing Flo’s privacy program and checking compliance with medical device regulations to doing routine contract management and IP enforcement. Legal and Compliance consists of three teams — Data Protection, Regulatory Compliance, and Legal Services. Each of these teams manages its own legal compliance domain.

We're looking for a Privacy Project Manager to sit within the Data Protection Office as part of our Legal and Compliance function and help us drive the privacy priorities and projects.

What you will be doing: 

  • Lead the implementation, operation, support and maintenance of the Privacy Information Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27000 series standards and other applicable frameworks with a focus on product and technology-related privacy projects,
  • Lead future certification efforts against ISO/IEC 27701,
  • Partner with the Privacy Team and business stakeholders on problem definition & drive alignment on business goals, privacy goals and defining target OKRs, 
  • Partner with product and technology teams to determine and define scope and objectives of multiple deliverables and cross-team initiatives,
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner,
  • Provide technical and procedural support in the implementation of privacy information management solutions,
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans,
  • Track projects and provide updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress,
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years experience in managing large scale privacy transformation projects, preferably within a technology-based product company,
  • Experience in managing and supporting the implementation of ISO Standards or other similar privacy-related frameworks, such as GDPR,
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to scope,
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively,
  • Experience in working with teams virtually and across multiple time zones,
  • Degree qualification (or equivalent) desirable, systems or other relevant subjects strongly preferred,
  • Project Management Qualification (either academic, professional or both) desirable,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful,
  • Knowledge of OneTrust, Jira and Confluence is an advantage.
