ABOUT THE JOB

FleishmanHillard’s Brussels office is seeking an intern to support its Financial Services public affairs practice.

This varied role will consist of providing project management support to a team of 45 public affairs consultants mostly specialized in EU financial services and digital policy, in direct coordination with the Team Coordinator.

 

What you will do

  • Event coordination (materials, preparation, mailing and tracking of participants, support on the day, …)
  • Preparation of large meetings, including materials production, event management, catering coordination and technical support (backing up IT support staff)
  • Support consultants on material preparation (e.g. PowerPoint, Word formatting)
  • Travel planning for consultants
  • Database management

 

Who you are

  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French (other languages are an asset), together with strong interpersonal skills
  • You are fluent in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other presentation and productivity software is essential
  • You are an enthusiastic team player with a flexible and can-do attitude
  • You have an entrepreneurial and creative approach to problem solving
  • You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-national environment
  • You have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise / reprioritise deadlines rapidly and able to handle multiple diaries
  • You are pragmatic, hands-on, results oriented and very reliable
  • You pay attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • You are committed to the highest standards of service delivery
  • You manage multiple issues and deadlines
