We're looking for an experienced front line sales leader to lead one of our Mid-Market Account Executive teams. Our Mid-Market segment accounts for a significant amount of new subscription ARR each year, this role will be a key contributor to Fleetio’s growth.

What you'll be doing

The Sales Manager, Mid-Market will lead one of the two Mid-Market AE teams at Fleetio. Mid-Market consists of companies with fleet sizes between 100-1,000, with contract values ranging from $20k to $60k typically. Your team will have 7 Account Executives on staff and will be focused on driving new subscription sales within their named territory.  

  • Execute against your prorated new subscription ARR target for 2024
  • Deliver impactful coaching and deal support to your team
  • Develop the skills & career growth of your existing staff and bring exceptional talent into Fleetio
  • Set the tone for sales excellence within your team - driving operational efficiency and sales best practice in the field
  • Drive key initiatives within your team, such as outbound pipeline creation and forecasting accuracy
  • Partner with your cross functional teams to deliver against OKRs & projects

Our team

You’ll lead a team of 7 MId-Market Account Executives and report into the CRO today, eventually shifting to the VP of Acquisition Sales. Our Sales Division includes Sales Development, Acquisition Sales, Solutions Consulting and Account Management.

Requirements

  • Track record of beating ARR targets as a front line sales manager 
  • 3+ years leading high performing sales teams, with experience in our contract size band
  • Fleet or fleet adjacent experience is helpful
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies, channels and processes 
  • Natural ability to inspire, develop and coach
  • Desire and sales abilities to work in the field alongside your AE’s
  • Ability to work cross functional to achieve business outcomes, working with Business Operations, Enablement, Marketing and Sales Development
