About the role

We’re looking for a brilliant Product Operations Itinerary Expert to play a central role at the heart of our fast-paced and dynamic Products team. As the first point of contact for our live departures, you’ll be closely involved in the day-to-day running of our growing adventure portfolio. We need an excellent communicator who is right at home overseeing all the detail of our worldwide trips, juggling seamless product launches with a continual drive for feedback-based development and quality reviews.

In this exciting opportunity, you will be working collaboratively alongside our sales and customer happiness teams to continue Flash Pack’s runaway success story of 400% YoY growth. This is a fantastic opening for an experienced operations professional who thrives on building flawless product strategy.

You’ll be working on:

  • Building relationships with our guides and suppliers during an exciting time of international growth, all while ensuring strong performance and scalability of our products.
  • Defining a global strategic product plan around our rapidly growing repertoire of adventures
  • Refining and developing product portfolio to ensure continuous improvement and quality reviews are achieved. Also ensuring considerations are made for feedback, demand, supply, quality, reliability and scalability of products
  • Live departure management, and be responsible for making the final decision on any changes made
  • Building relationships with suppliers, working together for watertight product launches and smooth day-to-day logistics
  • Creating a global network of guides and training them on Flash Pack values
  • Creating processes to help Flash Pack become much more efficient internally, and with our appointed suppliers
  • Monitoring the POS product launch, providing accurate product performance information, with weekly reports highlighting key issues, trends and opportunities. Ensuring the team is well-briefed
  • Tracking sales and profitability against KPIs
  • Managing all necessary health and safety plans/documentation
  • Liaising with the digital marketing team on the promotion of key adventure products
  • Assisting the marketing and product teams with proofing website content
  • Updating supplier information in all operations schedules and databases
  • Identifying, scoping and deploying wider improvement projects, which are both impactful and sustainable

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, or experience in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent written, oral communication and organisational skills, with an expert eye for detail
  • Data driven, with a working knowledge of Excel
  • A creative touch, and an instinct for developing quality itineraries
  • A continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiency across the teams
  • The ability to prioritise your workload in a busy environment with a positive, can-do attitude
  • An appetite for tech-solutions
  • Flexibility: when things change quickly, you need to kick into high gear at a moment's notice
