With well-designed products and honest conversations at its core, Flamingo launched in 2018 with a suite of products for body hair. Since then, we have expanded our assortment to be the first brand that offers products for every routine: razors, wax strips for face and body, shave gel, body lotion, and Mons Mist. In February 2019, Flamingo launched at Target stores nationwide, immediately jumping to the top of the bestseller list for razors, wax strips, and shave gel. Our products and campaigns have been covered by Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, and InStyle, and we’ve won major beauty accolades from Allure (Best in Beauty) and Essence (Best in Black Beauty). We’re committed to building healthy, positive relationships with our bodies and de-stigmatizing the conversation around women's health. Since launch we have donated to organizations that champion women, their bodies and their choices.

Health and Wellness

Vacation and Time Off
We offer flexible time off policies and a generous company holiday calendar, including company-wide time off for a full week in the summer, and for a full week at the end of the year. After five, ten and 15 consecutive years of full-time employment, you’re eligible for a sabbatical: four paid weeks off at five years, six paid weeks off at ten years, and eight paid weeks off at 15 years, to do whatever you choose. 

Family Leave
All new parents get 20 fully paid weeks off for parental leave, with an additional four weeks to “reboard” and ease back into work for parents taking their leave consecutively. Parents and parents-to-be receive additional support through a free membership to an on-demand virtual care platform.

Hybrid Work 
The Flamingo team leverage hybrid work. Our team works together in our NYC offices Tuesday-Thursday, and remotely on Monday’s and Friday’s.

Office Experience
To support our in-office experience, we provide a weekly lunch stipend, weekly bagels, and a fully stocked kitchen with drinks, coffee and snacks.
