Quotient Therapeutics, Inc. is a privately held, early-stage company developing a novel genomics platform and therapeutics for diseases with a large unmet need.
Position Summary:
We are currently looking for an accomplished and innovative scientist or senior scientist with a strong background in immunology and autoimmunity to join our team. The successful candidate will lead efforts to validate targets identified from target identification platform using both in vitro and in vivo model systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and utilize cellular and molecular immunology assays to support preclinical and clinical development of our immunology pipeline.
- Design and execute in vitro and in vivo studies to elucidate the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases and to explore potential therapeutic interventions.
- Contribute to assessment and triage of novel targets relevant to autoimmune diseases.
- Collaborate with team members and present results at internal and external meetings.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and participate in cross-functional research teams.
- Maintain proper documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Immunology or related field with a minimum of 1-3 years of industry experience, preferably in immunology or autoimmunity.
- Solid track record of scientific achievement demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications, patents, or presentations.
- Extensive experience in flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, Western Blotting, and other immunoassay technologies.
- Experience with cell culture and manipulation of primary immune cells.
- Understanding of autoimmune disease animal models is preferred.
- Ability to think critically, and demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to function as a team player in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with target validation in an industrial setting
