Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing a multitude of in vitro and in vivo experiments
  • Establishing and executing various mammalian cell based assays using reporter cell lines, primary cells, or transformed mammalian cell lines
  • Establishing flow cytometry, Luminex, and immunoprofiling assays
  • Developing disease models and designing biodistribution studies
  • Managing projects with vendors and CROs
  • Isolating cells, proteins, particles, or analytes from experimental tissues or cell cultures
  • Collaborating closely with other team members
  • Troubleshooting and designing novel approaches

Minimum qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in biology, cell biology, immunology, biomedical engineering or related discipline, with 3+ years of additional laboratory experience
  • Experience with complex in vitro models such as organoids or organs-on-chip
  • Experience with diverse disease models or in vivo study designs
  • Experience in various biological techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, westerns, qPCR, and microscopy
  • Execution-focused, team-oriented, and highly motivated, with strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently and collaborate across disciplines
  • Strong verbal, written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, innovative environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with nanoscale therapeutic delivery modalities
  • Performing quantitative image processing
  • Experience with proteomics and/or lipidomics
  • Experience with bacterial-host interactions
