About the role:

Customer Renewals Reps (CRR’s) own an assigned Renewals book of business. They are responsible for maximising recurring revenue and ensuring that renewals are booked on time. 

CRRs will work cross-functionally with Support, Customer Success Managers, Technical Success Managers, Finance, Deal Desk and other teams to deliver world class renewals and retention rates. 


  • Reduce churn by working 180 days out from renewal date to identify risk factors earlier and to execute on a plan to mitigate that risk
  • Better forecasting accuracy by ensuring SFDC is accurate and update on an ongoing basis 
  • Less downgrades due to billing issues, as the CRR will have time to speak to customers about invoicing and credit card issues 

As a Customer Renewals Rep at Fivetran, you will:

  • Own an assigned book of Renewals
  • Looking at each renewal 180 days out from Renewal due date
  • Clearly articulating a strategy on “At Risk” accounts identified through usage analysis and other key factors 
  • Executes a plan to mitigate Risk
  • Own and develop internal processes for collaboration with the wider CS team
  • Engage in consultative discovery conversations to uncover account expansion at point of renewal
  • Work with customers to resolve any issues that may prevent them from remaining as a customer. This includes - billing, invoicing, value perception, relationship, product, competitive threats and any other issues that may come up 
  • Engaging with customer around late invoices and credit card fails 
  • Accurate use of SFDC Note and Forecasting processes 

Your Superpowers: 

  • Proven track record of success in sales and/or renewing contracts 
  • Aptitude for and interest in financial analysis and outcomes
  • Strong Negotiation Skills 
  • Ability to organise and prioritise activities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational and follow up skills, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • SaaS experience is a plus
