Your responsibilities will include on-call support, weekend project work, and proactive health tasks. Who you are:

Possess 5-10 years of Unix/Linux Administration Enterprise Level Experience in a large, distributed environment.
Demonstrate experience in Incident and Change Management and Reporting.
Hold in-depth knowledge of Linux (Red-hat) with a solid understanding of Solaris.
Exhibit detailed process knowledge of TCP/IP and associated technologies (NFS, NIS, DNS, DHCP).
Have a strong understanding of Unix system monitoring and reporting.
Show detailed knowledge of Server OS and firmware upgrades.
Possess extensive knowledge of NTP/Time Keeper and time synchronization technologies.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of vulnerability assessment and server patching.
Have scripting/programming-level knowledge of Shell, Perl/Python.
Show ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with a fix-it-once-for-everywhere and automation mentality.
Possess effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work well in a global team environment.
Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and high-pressure situations for outage handling, management, or resolution.

What you will do:

Deliver SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) support for the Firm's Critical Infrastructure (Oxygen Systems) following the Follow-The-Sun model.
Offer On-call support and engage in weekend project work.
Perform proactive health & hygiene tasks to maintain operational stability and compliance with risk & control programs, ensuring the production environment is not put at risk.
Collaborate with engineering teams to test and certify new hardware & software products.
Engage with clients to understand business demand, needs & provide support during outage scenarios.
Onboard new UNIX assets for growth or large programs such as new data center build-outs.

It would be awesome if you had:

Knowledge of Infoblox DDI solution.
Certification in RedHat Enterprise Linux.
Knowledge of Veritas Cluster Server or similar high-availability products.
Veritas Volume Manager.
Prior experience working in the financial services industry.
Knowledge of Ansible, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
Bachelor’s Degree.
