Job Purpose:

Like conducting an orchestra, the SAM co-ordinates client programmes in conjunction with the Account Director and Account Manager. By acting as the liaison between FITCH and clients, they effectively engage internal teams, vendors and clients at the right point in the process to ensure successful, co-ordinated results.

The SAM strives to maintain, meet and exceed client expectations in overseeing the management and delivery of projects to budget and on time. This role is also responsible for ensuring that client deliverables are being fulfilled by the Account Managers and Account Co-ordinators.

Professional & Technical Experience:

  • Previous agency experience at Account Manager level in design industry or related creative industry (retail experience required) with 4+ years’ experience
  • Proven experience in 3D/environmental design process
  • Proven ability to manage medium to large scale branding and design projects for both environments and brand communication deliverables
  • Strong experience engaging, developing and retaining client relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills honed within the creative industry

Key Responsibilities: The majority of time within the role is dedicated to:

 

 

  • • Project Management
    o Client lead on at least one account in addition to multiple project workstreams
    - Overall responsibility for the management or co-ordination of projects from start to finish; overseeing project quality throughout the entire process
  • Team Co-ordination
    - Ability to unify a small team behind a single vison showcasing clear interdisciplinary understanding
    - Demonstrate a full understanding of the brief, requirements and deliverables; providing mentoring and on-the-job training to Account Managers and Account Co-ordinators
  • Clients
    - Managing client expectations at all times with issues tackled in advance and problems foreseen and resolved
    - Building and maintaining strong continuous relationships with key senior clients, identifying and addressing their needs
  • Finance
    - Financially accountable for the whole project; defining the scope of work, planning cost proposals and timelines as well as forecasting budgets and tracking spend
    - Confident negotiator capable of working with client to reach a mutually beneficial position on finance and project deliverables
    - The ability to uncover potential opportunities within the current workstreams
  • Creative
    - Ensuring creative teams are fully briefed. Participating in brand discussions and strategic deliverables with clients, strategists and/or creative teams
    - Adding value through creative feedback and strategic insights showcased through an innovative approach to problem solving-not being afraid to use this to challenge the studio and clients as required
    - Confidently present work with reference to FITCH proprietary tools where relevant
  • Industry Insight
    - Maintaining a good understanding of the client and the major trends shaping the market; ensuring AM and AC are developing knowledge
