SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Construction Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting all construction functions and field staff. They will be responsible for the coordination of inspections, creation of contracts, procuring materials, and communicating with all business unit partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assign FKH field personnel to projects based off geography and current workloads
- Coordinate and schedule property inspections for our field personnel to evaluate homes FKH has under contract to purchase.
- Work with field personnel to distribute completed budgets to all business partners.
- Create contracts based on FKH field personnel budgets for vendors to complete renovation projects.
- Coordinate renovation schedules with FKH field personnel and FKH vendors
- Complete utility request forms for FKH field personnel.
- Maintain reporting information to support field personnel and vendor partner performance data

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Primarily working indoors, office environment.
- May sit for several hours at a time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of professional work experience
- Computer literacy; ability to comfortably navigate new technology and a strong competency in MS Office
- Above average ability to communicate with others, both verbally and in writing
- General knowledge of reading, writing, and evaluating project specifications and scopes of work
- Foster teamwork and mutual respect throughout the company
- Working knowledge of the following a plus: air conditioning, appliances, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, electricity, carpet, vinyl, windows, painting and drywall
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Previous experience coordinating field related activities from an office-based position
- Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
- Administration — Knowledge of business and principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
