The Resident Transition Specialist will monitor eviction statuses of residents who reside in FirstKey Home rental properties in all markets. This role will communicate with local markets, local attorneys and corporate counsel to ensure they have received updated information and adhere to FirstKey homes eviction procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist with the Resident Transition Programs and make sure that we are complying with all guidelines.
Monitor eviction statuses to ensure timely eviction of residents.
Update and maintain records of resident accounts using company systems. Provide documentation to outside counsel as needed to facilitate the eviction process.
Inform local markets of tenant pay or quit notices. Manage the distribution of notices to residents.
Inform local markets of current eviction list. Distribute list to local counsel when needed.
Provide updates on eviction accounts as needed to Resident Transition Manager, local markets and corporate counsel as needed.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to evictions.
Participate in department meetings when required.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily working indoors, office environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Minimum 1-year experience compliance experience regarding regulatory matters in a corporate or legal environment
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience working in Yardi or similar property management program
Experience working in property management, real estate or similar industry
Experience working in a fast pace, high growth company
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Law and Government— Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process or willing and able to learn.
