SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Email Marketing Manager, you will own the planning, execution, management and measurement of our email and SMS marketing campaigns. You will lead initiatives in automation, segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing, with a keen focus on optimizing key campaign metrics and outcomes (i.e., improved lead quality, improved conversion, etc.). This role reports to the SVP, Marketing and Brand Experience, and joins an amazing team of marketing rockstars.

Portfolio examples will be required during the interview process. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Define our email and SMS marketing strategy to align with and deliver on our sales and retention goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing programs, including automation, segmentation, and personalization.
  • Implement advanced segmentation strategies to tailor messaging based on behaviors and preferences.
  • Conceptualize visually appealing emails, optimize for key metrics such as CTR, open rates, revenue attribution, conversions, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the sales team to align email campaigns with overall sales objectives.
  • Create and test campaigns that align content with customer preferences and personalization.
  • Analyze and optimize key metrics, conducting A/B testing for improved messaging and targeting.
  • Gain subject matter expertise in customer pain points, delivering proactive, relevant, and timely campaigns.
  • Report on email and SMS deliverability and compile weekly channel reports for the SVP, Marketing and Brand Experience.
  • Stay updated on email best practices, industry trends, and provide proactive recommendations.
  • Manage and analyze email campaign performance, monitoring metrics, and generating reports.
  • Work closely with external vendors to enhance, create, or manage products.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional email and SMS marketing strategy and campaigns using modern email marketing platforms (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce, Braze, etc.).
  • Proficient in analytical tools for performance measurement and data-driven decision-making.
  • 2+ years of basic HTML, CSS, and/or XML knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, data privacy regulations, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
  • Implementing new email marketing technology solutions.
  • E-commerce or consumer marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management.
