About the Role

As an Operations Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our critical business operations. This entry-level position will primarily focus on three key areas: managing data entry processes, addressing day-to-day product-related inquiries, and serving as the frontline representative for operational issues. As the frontline Operations Specialist, you will act as the first point of contact for operational issues that arise on a day-to-day basis. Whether it's troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with various departments, or escalating concerns when necessary, you will be at the forefront of resolving operational challenges and maintaining seamless business processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in critical business operations while being an integral part of a dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary
  • Create procedures and protocols (such as checklists) and distribute to staff
  • Communicate and coordinate with employees (including executive operations team) and vendors
  • Develop and implement department-wide quality control measures
  • Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations
  • Maintain communication with operations manager, colleagues, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points
  • Assist the operations manager in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities
  • Review customer success operations practices and improve them when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an operational or similar role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
  • A career interest in banking, finance, fintech, or underwriting.
  • Proven organizational skills, including time management.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $55k - $65k+ (depending on experience).
