About FT Longitude

FT Longitude is a thought leadership specialist that is fully owned by the Financial Times Group. Our product offering spans three areas: Strategy, a set of services that helps clients to plan and execute effective and differentiated thought leadership campaigns; Research, which encompasses surveys, interview programmes, data modelling and desk research; and Content, which covers multi-format thought leadership campaigns, spanning reports, articles, opinion pieces, visual and interactive

Main purposes of job

  • Ownership of all revenue operations and relevant admin. 
  •  Responsibility for all relevant systems as well as related processes and workflows 
  • Documentation and evolution of business processes 
  • Produce and manage business reporting along with ad hoc analysis

Key Responsibilities

Revenue operations

  • Creation of projects in ERP system (Kantata) 
  • Management of sales invoicing processes including order creation liaising with the finance and sales teams to ensure timely invoicing. 
  • Manage project closure process, ensuring timely closure and reconciliation of projects. 

System management

  • Management and evolution of all relevant systems and integrations (currently Salesforce (SF), Kantata and Monday.com)
  • Liaising with relevant admin providers to ensure that systems and related processes are up to date. 
  • Project management of any system upgrades as well as process and workflow updates.

Reporting

  • Ownership and production of regular reporting to senior management.
  • Produce ad hoc analysis as and when required liaising with relevant departments and senior managers

Ownership of business processes

  • Build knowledge of all relevant business processes 
  • Work across various teams to document and evolve processes and workflows where necessary.

Key experience and qualifications

  • Prior relevant experience would be ideal
  • Extensive experience with systems is vital (SF, Kantata, Monday.com, would be ideal but not essential)
  • Proficient user of MS Office 
  • Excellent analytical and data modelling skills 
  • Excellent general understanding of business workflows

Signs of Success/KPIs

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data and reporting across all systems and teams.
  • Ensure all relevant processes are communicated and followed.
