Position Overview

Alpha Grid creates visually-stunning, sophisticated content for multiple platforms: web, print, social medias, and in multiple formats: animations, articles, interactive infographics, podcasts and live or virtual events - with a keen focus on video, our specialty. Our work exclusively targets senior decision-maker audiences, providing business leaders with information they need to act. 

As we grow and scale the business, an opportunity has arisen for a full-time Senior Manager - Client Services and Content Strategy, APAC, based in Singapore.

This is a broad role which combines strategy and ideation with client services, requiring detailed oversight of branded content creation and delivery. This role will support and enable Alpha Grid’s growth in Asia as a strategic content creation and service partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads client services for Alpha Grid’s APAC clients (both Financial Times Partner Content and Alpha Grid direct) delivering excellence to deepen relationships and enable retention and growth.

  • Owns relationships with key regional internal stakeholders for FT. (FT Content Directors, FT Live, FT Longitude)

  • Works with the APAC FT Partner Content team and APAC FT Ad Sales team to win new business by co-developing branded content strategies and proposals.

  • Sources and develops original ideas and stories and determines the formats in which they should be executed.

  • Uses performance data and insight (from FT proprietary systems) to inform campaign strategy. 

  • Offers high-touch client servicing to steer clients through projects, explaining and selling AG benefits as an active client partner. 

  • Collaborates with content production teams (in the UK) to stay close enough to the production to keep everybody updated on progress. 

  • Represents Alpha Grid at local shoots when working with freelance crews

  • Attends local conferences and events

  • Advises on Alpha Grid’s APAC marketing strategy - to be executed by the global UK based team at first.

  • Advises on Alpha Grid’s APAC sales target prioritisation and strategic approach and creates warm leads for Alpha Grid’s global sales team. 

Required Skills / Experience 

  • Strong foundation of knowledge in business and current affairs – with financial literacy a strong advantage

  • A pragmatic visionary - commercially and creatively balanced

  • Sophisticated understanding of B2B marketing and how content businesses go to market with a broad knowledge of multimedia content production, products and services, including production timelines.  

  • Ability to make effective recommendations - tactical, creative and strategic.

  • Extensive client management experience

  • Gravitas, influence and market profile - a respected client partner

  • Exceptional administrative and organisational skills – able to juggle multiple complex tasks, to work independently and to prioritise effectively

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing teams. 

  • Connections to local creatives would be a plus
