Title: Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities: 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage revenue forecasting based on project activity and contracted fee agreements
  • Manage invoicing:
    • Recurring invoicing for retainers and expense reimbursement
    • Final invoices for transaction fees
    • Coordinate internal resources for invoice calculation, timing/delivery of invoices, and document retention
    • Develop invoicing checklist
  • Maintain tracking databases for:
    • Prior/in process/anticipated invoice workflow
    • Contingent fees billed in the future
    • Monitoring tail periods and applying provisions
  • Handle all collections in a timely manner, manage past due clients to payment, and forecast cash collections
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with senior investment bankers
  • Optimize workflows using automation
  • Learn a significant amount about the “ins and outs” of a boutique investment bank, gaining significant exposure to clients and senior executives at FT Partners and the financial technology industry
  • Assist with special projects and analysis, as needed


  • Graduate of an accredited 4-year university with a major in accounting or finance
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or FP&A
  • Understanding of GAAP Revenue, invoicing, and collections/retention valued
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Interest in finance, revenue forecasting and pipeline management
  • Superb verbal communication and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong work ethic and a drive for excellence
  • Team player, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization required
