Summary
We are looking for a Senior Quest Designer with a sharp eye for detail dedicated to shipping the highest quality product. You are passionate about mentoring your talented team and encouraging collaboration to ensure all voices are heard. You lead by example and roll your sleeves up to guarantee the design team’s success. As our Senior Quest Designer, you will drive the design and create engaging quest gameplay experience. You’ll rapidly create mockups and iterate on ideas for content that keeps players engaged. You have a positive outlook on work and life overall. We make games, and it’s pretty awesome!
Duties
- Execute across all stages of development: from paper prototypes to feature documentation and in-game implementation
- Create high-quality designs under various constraints and on schedule
- Pitch and iterate on designs to support new features and gameplay changes
- Implement assets in Unreal Engine and manage files through source control
- Write and maintain design documentation and processes
- Support and mentor members of the design team with feedback, and engine assistance
- Facilitate and participate in daily playtests to collect feedback and create action items for owned feature teams
- Collaborate with the Production team to maintain schedule and priorities of the design teams deliverables and bug fixes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of game design experience on console and/or PC
- 2+ years of experience with AAA Live Service Design
- Professional experience working in the Unreal Engine implementing content directly
- Excellent communicator who can take feedback and direction well and is willing to learn and teach others
- Ability to analyze and adapt designs quickly based on feedback and data
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and effective time-management skills
- High-quality bar and obsessive attention to detail
Physical Demands
- Ability to see (near visual acuity) and hear, either naturally or with correction, and speak well enough to convey detailed spoken instructions accurately
- Must be able to meet physical requirements that include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, gross manipulation
- Must be capable of working extended hour days when job/business needs demands

The annual base compensation for this role in Washington is anticipated to be between $116,153 - $142,647 (Level 1) and between $134,338 - $160,832 (Level 2). Final offer amounts are determined by a variety of factors, including where the work will be performed, and may vary from the range above.
