Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for an Integration Technician to join the team to build complex mechanical and electrical systems and assemble our humanoid robot.
Responsibilities:
Build mechanical and electrical assemblies into a complete system
Remove and replace mechanical components up to 50lbs
Identify and document electrical and mechanical failures on complex systems
Develop and document best practices on early developmental builds
Work closely with controls team, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and build groups to improve future design
Install complex harnesses in production style environment
Use JIRA, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and email
Ability to work under short timelines when needed
Requirements:
2+ years experience working with complex systems
Familiarity with electrical hardware based diagnostic tools such as but not limited to Scope, Digital MultiMeter, Current Probes
Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly
Ability to communicate with others
Ability to follow assembly documentation
Use general hand tools
Great attitude and excited to face challenges
Organized with attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications:
Catia or CAD based program experience
Fabrication experience
Hobbies such as radio control cars and model building
