Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for an Advanced Electrical Prototype Technician that has the skills and patience to assemble complex electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
Expertly solder, rework, and troubleshoot complex printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure the highest quality and reliability
Construct and validate intricate electromechanical assemblies to support R&D initiatives, emphasizing precision, thorough testing, and documentation
Specialize in first article PCBA and harness work. Implement quality control measures to verify the accuracy and functionality of prototypes and assemblies
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics, bills of materials, and assembly instructions, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all processes
Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of cutting-edge electrical systems and prototypes
Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of equipment and tools used for PCBA rework and harness assembly, guaranteeing optimal functionality
Requirements:
Proven expertise in PCBA rework, wire harnessing, and electromechanical assembly within an R&D or advanced prototyping environment
Exceptional soldering and reworking skills, with the ability to work on a variety of components. Ability to read schematics and a basic understanding of electrical communication protocols and electronics
Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for troubleshooting electronic issues, addressing challenges even beyond your primary area of expertise
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, facilitating seamless collaboration within the team
Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements, ensuring a deep understanding of the evolving landscape of electrical engineering
