Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. Whether it’s consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come make with us!

Our customers, community members, and non customers alike are providing a trove of feedback via a variety of channels both internal and external to Figma. With AI, we have the power to harness this trove of data to maintain customer intimacy and to translate that information into action for our products and our business. And we have the opportunity to make this information accessible and digestible for all product builders and leaders across the company.

The Scaled Insights team is a small but mighty team dedicated to capturing, analyzing, democratizing, and synthesizing insights gathered at scale to drive and influence critical product and business decisions. This team is responsible for procuring state of the art tools and building best practice processes to ensure all product builders and leaders at Figma can benefit from customer insights - no matter where those insights are generated from.

As the Scaled Insights Manager, you will lead the team’s strategy and execution for scalable insights capabilities. You will also lead a team of three individual contributors, including a Research Ops Manager, a Program Manager, and a Scaled Insights Researcher by fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, and data teams to drive innovation and amplify the impact of insights across the organization.

  • Foster team growth: Manage and mentor a small but mighty team including providing clarity on roles, growth plans, and career trajectories.
  • Manage the Research Ops Manager to ensure that all research related operations are running smoothly and efficiently. Work with the Research Ops Manager to manage our budget, vendor relationships, tooling, and recruiting needs. Liaise with a team of 15+ researchers to empower researchers to drive impact on their projects with the appropriate tooling and processes. And ensure that our Research Library and Research Hub are maintained on the best platforms to drive impact.
  • Manage the Program Manager to ensure that data is captured, cleansed, linked, and analyzed effectively to drive high quality recruiting, panel management, and insights. Ensure that our toolchain remains the most powerful and user friendly toolchain available in the fast evolving research environment.
  • Manage the Scaled Insights Researcher to drive actionable insights for our products and our business across all product surfaces. And ensure that our new NPS program is driving actionable insights for the company.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in research, insights, or related fields, with a proven track record in building and executing successful scaled insights or knowledge management systems or programs.
  • Passion and familiarity with AI powered research tooling and implications on scaling research.
  • Proven experience collaborating with PMs, Designers, Engineers, Researchers and Data Scientists with a deep bench of experience driving product and business impact through research or through empowering research teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and program management skills, with the ability to balance innovation with execution.
  • Former experience managing people or a team of people.

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Hands-on experience with developing or tinkering with AI applications, demonstrating a curiosity for building and experimenting with emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise grade Deep Research, or AI assistant platforms, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools, and their application in scaling insights or organizational workflows.
  • A passion for exploring how AI-driven solutions can transform research practices and enhance decision-making at scale.
  • Experience defining and implementing voice of customer programs.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills to amplify the impact of insights across the organization.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
