Impact In This Role

Are you ready to be at the forefront of revolutionizing hardware manufacturing? Fictiv is on a mission to develop the operating system for sourcing custom mechanical parts, and we’re seeking an Associate Technical Program Manager - Manufacturing Partner Focused to help us expand our footprint within India. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing high mix/low volume projects, ensuring seamless execution, and driving customer satisfaction. You’ll directly interface with our manufacturing partners, utilizing your engineering expertise to deliver complex projects for Fortune 500 clients in cutting-edge industries like autonomous electric vehicles, surgical systems, and industrial robots.

Areas of Responsibility

Your responsibilities will span across project management, risk mitigation, work order assignment, production issue resolution, change order management, continuous improvement, and communication management. You’ll oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline standards while actively identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

Desired Traits, Qualifications, Education and Experience Equivalency

To thrive in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of equivalent work experience. You should have at least 2 years of project management experience in hardware/manufacturing, preferably in an OEM or contract manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CNC machining is a must, with additional experience in processes like die casting, sheet metal fabrication, and 3DP printing being advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in multicultural settings and on night shifts. You should be adept at problem-solving, results-oriented, and possess a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
