Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Central base Epsom (minimum 2 days), frequent travel to sites (Bromley, Greenwich)
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Reports to: HR Manager
Required: Full and clean UK driving license
What You Bring:
- HR Expertise & Onboarding Excellence: Solid experience in HR, ideally supported by a CIPD qualification, with expertise in onboarding. You excel at creating a positive start for new hires, ensuring compliance with recruitment standards and consistently enhancing candidate, manager, and recruitment experiences.
- Data Accuracy & System Management: Proven ability to manage and update HR systems like IRIS Cascade, with an emphasis on precise data entry and efficient problem-solving. You ensure accurate records, proactively address system challenges, and report updates to stakeholders.
- Effective Relationship Building: Skilled in leading regular meetings with site managers and teams, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. You’re a reliable support, ensuring open communication and that each location feels connected and well-informed.
- Responsive & Supportive Employee Relations: Expertise in handling employee relations (ER) queries with a proactive approach. You’re responsive, providing initial guidance within 48 hours and aiming to resolve cases within 7 days. Your data-driven approach helps track resolution timelines by site, with a focus on enhancing employee experience.
- Timely & Effective ER Process Leadership: Ability to lead ER processes with speed and accuracy, ensuring cases—from incidents to resolutions—are completed within 14 days. You also play a role in upskilling managers, guiding them on ER processes, and escalating cases when necessary to meet timelines.
- Proactive, Organized & Metrics-Focused: A highly organised approach to HR tasks, including ER, performance, attendance, and compliance matters. You track key metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making that enhances team performance across locations.
- Clear & Supportive Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, enabling you to clearly communicate with managers, advise on people matters, and provide accurate guidance on next steps. You keep managers up-to-date with policy changes and ensure consistent, proactive communication.
- Committed Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a willingness to travel to regional sites, working closely with the wider support functions to provide on-site support and guidance, fostering a positive workplace culture.
