Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Central base Epsom (minimum 2 days), frequent travel to sites (Bromley, Greenwich)
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Reports to: HR Manager

Required: Full and clean UK driving license

 

What You Bring:

  • HR Expertise: Experience in HR, with strong knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and legal requirements. A CIPD qualification is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: A proven ability to accurately track and input data into HR systems such as IRIS Cascade, ensuring all HR-related information is up-to-date and precise.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Skilled in coordinating timely, smooth onboarding, ensuring compliance with Safer Recruitment, DBS checks, and reference requirements while communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Relationship Builder: Lead regular, effective meetings with site managers and their teams, providing the necessary support to create a positive working environment and ensuring consistent communication across locations.
  • Employee Relations: Expertise in managing employee relations processes within appropriate timelines, providing advice, guidance, and upskilling managers. You report outcomes effectively, ensuring resolutions align with company policies.
  • Proactive & Organised: Ability to manage multiple HR tasks, including performance, attendance, disciplinary, and grievance matters, while meeting deadlines and maintaining a proactive approach.
  • Data-Driven: Skilled at managing HR-related systems and being able to interpret and make decisions based on data and key metrics.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively advise and coach managers on people-related matters, and support HR initiatives.
  • Team Player: Willingness to travel to regional sites and work closely with the wider support functions.
