We are looking for a Digital Media Manager to join our team in Hollywood, CA this role will work across several lines of business, encompassing Fender’s major product launches, eCommerce efforts, and New Player initiatives.  This person will have a strong Paid Media background at either an agency or high-growth company.  This role will focus on optimizing and improving our paid media campaigns across various lines of business and, in conjunction with the rest of the Paid team, lead the execution of projects across the company. Additionally, this role will provide operational support as needed to ensure smooth implementations of various campaigns.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Hollywood office.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the paid team on various initiatives, take on ownership of key projects as needed. Identify areas of opportunity to improve various campaigns (or launch new campaigns) and win buy-in
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams – Integrated Marketing, Marketing Ops, CRM, Analytics, Product – to help coordinate proper execution of marketing campaigns. Ensure proper prioritization and milestones, while maintaining a high-level of organization
  • Implement and maintain a high-functioning process management system to properly service campaign execution, audience maintenance, creative support, and other projects as needed. This includes proper housing of creative, trafficking, creating and maintaining a content calendar, etc.
  • Partner with creative support agency to manage, conception, development and launch of new creatives across the various media campaigns. Ensure a high quality of work and timely completion of various projects
  • Assist in performance assessment of each campaign/creative piece
  • Manage first party data and custom audiences
  • Assist team with recurring projects (slide decks, creative briefs, etc)
  • In partnership with the Director of Marketing, work with Integrated Marketing team and media agency on devising media plans and creative suites to properly support major product launch campaigns
  • Take on a high-level of ownership around key revenue-generating campaigns. Manage media agency to execute on tasks and strategies to hit KPIs for various campaigns.
  • Work with MI agency on proper execution of print and digital trade publication campaigns. Ensure proper trafficking and handle ad hoc requests as needed
  • Collaborate with internal PM teams on asset requests, answering questions and providing feedback as needed, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery of digital and print assets
  • Identify areas of improvement in all creative areas. Seek opportunities to leverage previous campaign learnings into enhancements for future campaigns
  • Assist with preparation of GTM planning

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing paid media campaigns at either an agency or high-growth company.
  • Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics or similar) and setting up UTM tracking
  • Experience in data-driven marketing, customer acquisition, and customer retention
  • Strong creative eye, ability to provide actionable feedback on marketing creatives. Understanding of performance media best practices
  • Knowledge of the principles of advertising, marketing and media. Up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices, relating mainly to search, social, and display advertising
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Have a passion for keeping current with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and metrics
  • Experience in working with 3rd parties/outside resources to get work completed. Worked cross-functionally to launch marketing initiatives
  • Start-up experience a plus
  • Understanding of LPO + UX and improving conversion rate a plus
  • Understanding of web and app-based KPIs, such as LTV, CAC, and churn a plus
  • Strong time management, communication, project management, analysis and presentation skills
