We are searching for an E-Commerce Account Manager based Shanghai, China.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategy
    • Develop long term e-commerce strategy for Fender brand and products in China market.
    • Develop Tmall activation strategy to drive Fender’s brand online awareness and to develop brand favorability.
    • Lead the strategy and action plan to open Fender JD store.
    • Own the relationship with e-comm channels, partners and agencies.
    • Assesses the competitive landscape by examining merchandising strategies of key competitors and best-in-class online retailers to understand emerging online trends and recommend changes to the online category strategy based on customer and competitor insights; brand strategies; analysis of KPIs (e.g., sales, conversion, in-stock levels, and assortment alignment) and category or product-specific promotions.
    • Explore potential business opportunities on multiple e-commerce channels, e.g. Douyin, Wechat, Red. Etc.
  • Sales
    • Understands the overall merchandising strategy for each product category.
    • Work with regional sale lead to define ecommerce sales strategy and an optimal business mix to achieve yearly sales and margin target Fender.
    • Work together with product and logistic team to improve online sales forecast accuracy.
    • Constantly monitor performance of key product/offer to drive business and improve purchase rate, and regularly provide monthly review.
    • Partners with product management teams to identify new opportunities.
    • Proactively identifies opportunities in the assortment for growth/decline by category based on market trends, competitive landscape, and historical performance.
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Marketing:
    • Manage and optimize Tmall / JD brand experience, incl. brand zone, online design and online VM, etc.
    • Manage in-platform media and marketing campaigns, incl. Super Brand Day.
    • Create an effective and attractive marketing campaigns together with brand marketing team to drive high-quality traffic to Tmall / JD store with better conversion rate.
    • Ecommerce CRM program management.
  • Customer Services:
    Provide guidance to customer services team of partners. To achieve:
    • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Analysis:
    • Analyze territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
    • Use in-platform or 3rd party tools to track and analysis consumers behavior, demographic, purchasing habit, etc & provide reports on regular base.
    • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
    • Continually seeks to improve the online experience by researching and staying abreast of new and innovative online solutions and capabilities; industry trends and emerging customer and market needs.
  • Others:
    • Continuously improve through feedback 
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications:

Education and/or Certifications and/or Training:

  • Required: University degree
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field

 

Minimum Professional Experience:

  • 5 years eCommerce merchandising experience, 2 years in Alibaba, JD or Brand site. E-Commerce background on Luxury, premium lifestyle or 3C industry is preferred.

 

Business Knowledge, Skill Requirements, and Desired Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of Fender Brand.
  • Abundant knowledge of Chinese E-commerce landscape and extensive experience in operating.
  • Consumer focused, highly analytical, and inquisitive by nature
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and in-person
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in fast paced environment.
  • Comfortable on a small dynamic team and willing to assist in other areas as needed.
  • Comfortable working within an International organization and able to influence for positive outcomes.
  • Multi-lingual (English highly desired.)
  • A passion for music
