Fathom is on a mission to automate away the $500B spent annually on administrative costs in the US healthcare system. We work with some of the nation’s largest RCM organizations and physician groups.  We empower medical coding operations with a world-class solution that is faster, more accurate, and more cost effective than any existing solutions.

Fathom is looking for an entrepreneurial Account Executive to take the growth of its world-class medical coding automation platform to the next level. We have some high-profile reference customers and are looking for an executive with some familiarity with revenue cycle management who is excited about a greenfield opportunity pushing Fathom into the nation’s largest health systems, physician groups, and billing companies. 

 

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Selling: identify, contact, and win new accounts, and shepherd those accounts from PoC into implementation
  • Collaborating: work with the Fathom team as well as channel partners to win new business
  • Teaching: sharing your learnings from the field with sales and marketing leadership, so that we can continuously enhance the sales process and better provide you the support you need to win business
  • Building: updating and maintaining the CRM to support marketing and forecasting activities

 

We are looking for a teammate with:

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience, working with director through C-level clients to personally sell and close $500K+ accounts
  • Demonstrated success by meeting or exceeding quotas on a consistent basis
  • Deep and relevant healthcare sales expertise where you have sold RCM services to large providers, and/or have sold to providers from within a startup environment
  • A willingness to travel as necessary to develop and maintain customer relationships

  • A Closer: you are willing to do whatever needs to be done to close a sale: calls, conferences, hopping on a plane; you will make it happen in order to understand the customer and their pain points, build strong relationships, and close deals
  • Outbound-Focused: comfortable connecting with. leading sales calls/meetings and presenting to a variety of levels from directors through to VPs and C-level executives
  • Relentless: you understand the inertia healthcare organizations face and are willing to work multiple levels of the organization to see a sale through from pilot to implementation
  • Resourceful: you have been in an entrepreneurial environment before and leverage your creativity and perseverance to create and capture opportunities
  • Fluent: you have worked with revenue cycle organizations before and can speak their language

 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Sales of contracts in excess of $1M
  • Experience building sales processes and selling in a Series A or B startup
  • Experience selling to physician groups 
  • Experience selling to medical billing organizations
