Your Role:

As the MES Manager, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to support the factory software systems including configuration, maintenance, improvements manufacturing execution systems (MES) and to develop, implement and architect interfaces with other enterprise systems that supports Manufacturing Execution business processes. Basically, you’ll ensure that the manufacturing line runs efficiently, accurately and will ensure that the right scalable IT solutions are introduced and maintained.


  • Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
  • Support and monitor open-source and proprietary systems used for production
  • Perform testing of new development
  • Perform failure analysis, implement immediate containment solutions, and suggest long term solutions.
  • Develop reports and dashboards.
  • Configure, design and maintain MES solution and other related manufacturing and quality related modules.
  • Apply knowledge and experience with MES, supplier integration, EDI and warehouse management and propose the best business practices, streamline, optimize and automate the associated business processes related to Preproduction management. Understands and supports Plan to Make, Kanban, product costing processes of an Automotive OEM.
  • Transform business requirements into functional and technical specification, conduct unit and integrations tests, deploy, train users and maintain the system.
  • Map and build interfaces with SAP, PLM, MES, CPQ and CRM systems.
  • Work with internal IT team and implementation partners in design, delivery, and deployment of solutions for automotive manufacturing.
  • Provide technical support to end users, including business analysts, line associates, etc.
  • Drive digitalization of the factory with leading edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with business process owners, internal and external IT teams to define, develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the business needs.
  • Identifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and judgment.
  • Demonstrates accountability and contributions to the successful realization of project goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the headquarters factory software team to maintain data/system integrity

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the fields or equivalent - Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing Planning & execution module.
  • Proven knowledge + expertise, and passion for factory automation.
  • Cross module integration experience with SAP MM, SD, EWM, QM.
  • Strong familiarity with production software.
  • Programming skills in scripting.
  • SQL and reporting skills.
  • Basic Networking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, document, organize & follow-up.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies.
  • Automotive industry experience would be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise with Sepasoft MES.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end MES implementation, upgrade and support projects.
  • Hands on experience in mapping and developing the interfaces with PLM, EWM, CPQ and CRM systems.
  • Hands on experience with EDI-Production sequence.
  • A diverse skillset including process controls, warehouse management, program lifecycle management (PLM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
  • A wide range of experience with multiple MES platforms.
  • A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies.
  • Ability to use knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to support the design and deployment of global technology solutions.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision.
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting.
