Factorial seeking a highly motivated Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician to accelerate our Mechanical testing protocols for advance solid state batteries. This position will work closely with R&D/cell product development teams to test, monitor accumulate and analyze cell data and also make recommendations on future experimental protocols.
Job Description
- Running experiments for the mechanical engineering and other teams to support the next generation cell development.
- Design and fabrication of testing fixtures.
- Design and fabrication of cable and electrical harness.
- Interfacing with computer systems to enter and retrieve data and analyze basic operational information.
- Work safely and in compliance with all regulations and quality systems.
- Communication of testing results via written report.
- Coordinating and executing equipment maintenance per manufacturer’s guidelines.

Qualification
- Associate’s Degree or Military experience.
- Minimum of 1 years’ hands-on experience working in a team setting.
- Must be comfortable with operating benchtop machinery.
- Technically proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent people skills and demonstrated ability to work in teams.
- Capable of meeting OSHA standards for manual lifting guidelines <50lbs.
- Experience working with a 3D CAD system such as Solidworks.
- Experience utilizing machining equipment such as a vertical endmill, band saw, lathe, welding, etc.
- Experience with wire harness assembly.
- Experience with embedded systems programming.
