Job Summary 

As an Application Support Administrator, you will be supporting business processes and applications and analyzing data to enhance operational effectiveness.  The most rewarding aspect of this role is interacting with your customers to provide solutions for both day-to-day issues and long-term success.

These skills will be used to:  

  • Consult with users to meet or exceed internal and external customers’ expectations. 
  • Work closely with all application owners, vendors, and infrastructure team members to analyze system performance, make modifications as necessary, and ensure end-to-end service performance metrics are achieved. 
  • Recommend and implement system modifications or enhancements to improve application performance and quality.  
  • Develop and refine application test plans. 
  • Manage multiple projects at one time and ensure projects stay within budget. 
  • Consult with end-users and others in the development of design concept interpretation. 
  • Serve as the internal tester for new application development. 
  • Track support tickets for the Application Support team. 
  • Works with senior application specialist members to analyze, troubleshoot, and support project tickets. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar experience.  
  • Basic SQL knowledge 

Physical demands and work environment

  • Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier).
  • Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
