Job Function:

The Senior Producer will play an integral role in developing, managing, and executing experiential projects, collaborating with various internal teams to execute projects on time, within budget, and up to the expectations of our clients. The Senior Producer will work closely with a variety of vendors, suppliers, and freelancers and will be asked to solve problems daily, while maintaining an ability to quickly shift gears across different clients, hopping in and out of projects at various stages as they move towards execution. The Senior Producer will be expected to manage realistic expectations and a steady workflow on all projects from conception to delivery, both internally and externally. The Senior Producer will be owning individual projects and provide oversight and guidance to others on their production team. We are looking for a strong people first leader, who has interesting and unusual experience, specializes in problem solving and can think holistically about how projects come to life from idea to execution.

The Senior Producer will be expected to oversee a multitude of tasks; including, but not limited to:

  • Maintain oversight of all assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring that both client objectives and internal objectives are being delivered upon, working closely with the Department Director from pitch to final delivery.
  • Establish and maintain production schedules, while leading day-to-day communication with project managers, internal team members, vendors, and external clients to ensure that the projects are on time, within budget, and beyond expectations.
  • Display an ability to confidently and effectively articulate creative vision and timelines to clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Establish and maintain a creative point of view on projects and an ability to explain concepts, ideas, and brand guidelines in a clear, friendly, and convincing manner.
  • Display an ability to collaborate with and challenge vendors on finding creative solutions to problems.
  • Develop and drive the experiential project process as a key leader in the department.
  • Build and lead a cross-functional event team, providing guidance and support.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and collaboration.
  • Identify and communicate project challenges in a timely manner, while brainstorming and identifying creative solutions to all problems and elevating to the Department Director as needed.
  • Understand and thoroughly prepare project SOWs, build, and manage project budgets, and also manage vendor invoices and payments working closely with the Department Director and Finance through actualization.
  • Seamlessly layer into projects when necessary, with an ability to quickly disseminate a client brief or project plan.
  • Collaborate and brainstorm across agency workstreams (strategy, creative teams, project managers, digital teams, and creative producers and accounts.)
  • Possess the ability to read in between lines to predict and react to a client’s needs, while consistently and proactively identifying ways to improve and service those needs and developing solutions to obstacles and budget constraints with client goals in mind.
  • Oversee the on-site execution of events, including coordination of staff, vendors, and volunteers.
  • Lead the on-site execution of managing the ROS, load in/out, show calling, etc.
  • Build and maintain industry knowledge, relationships, and resources that can be leveraged to help drive projects forward.
  • Keep a pulse on trends in advertising, entrepreneurship, technology, sport, music, entertainment, lifestyle, art, and culture.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of managing productions either within an agency environment or for a brand.
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with creative, event, and project management teams.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of event production.
  • Excellent negotiating skills and an innate understanding of industry pricing.
  • Creative problem-solver and highly conceptual abstract visual thinker.
  • Confident self-motivator; proactive and willing to initiate action.
  • Solutions-oriented thinker with a high-level ability to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Outstanding relationship skills and a team-oriented, collaborative approach to work.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment, across multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • A self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and projects at any given time.
  • Highly competent in Google Suite, Slack, Box, Asana, and other project management platforms.
  • A selfless team player who looks out for the well-being of others.
  • Passion and love for advertising, sport, entertainment, tech, culture, and lifestyle.
  • Ability to travel 20-30%

The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $115,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
