About Our Project

The customer is transforming its existing business through strategic technical initiatives that will enable it to fully leverage cloud services and ensure system scalability and stability while freeing up key teams to focus on new developments to deliver new revenue.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of background in Software Engineering, Design, or Development
  • 5+ years of experience delivering backend platforms using high-scale distributed system tools and techniques
  • Competency in developing C# .Net Core 8-based Linux services
  • Proficiency in a scientific multi-language environment (Python, Java/Groovy, R) and comfort in switching across languages are important
  • 2+ years of delivering cloud-based software solutions in Azure, using IaC via Bicep
  • Expertise in batch environments (like EMR/Redshift) and messaging systems (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ) 
  • Grounding in Nextflow genomics workflow definition language and/or alternatives (like Cromwell)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with general Linux administration and operational management
  • AWS skills
  • Expertise in Azure Batch for scalable batch computing and Service Bus for messaging 

English level

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and maintenance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and functionality for software products
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies
