What will you do?

As a Product Director, you will work closely with with clients and users to identify product opportunities, functional requirements and business process. This position will work collaboratively with teams to create a high-level roadmap for our data analytics platform and work it into a list of actionable development tasks to ensure our product meets our customers’ needs. 

This role reports to our VP, Product and can be based in Brunei, Singapore, or China,

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop product strategies for Data, SaaS, and PaaS products and plan and release features that increase their value.Develop concepts, define user journeys, brief prototypes, form hypotheses, and run experiments; and develop business cases for new products and improvements to existing products

  • Work closely with stakeholder groups to understand and gather business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business objectives

  • Participate in internal and external support for activities related to sales, marketing, services, and other departments

  • Prioritize product features, manage the backlog, and own the product roadmap.

  • Proactively contributes to product management best practices for the company

  • Ensure appropriate training to both internal and external stakeholders, e documentation, release notes, progress updates and product marketing efforts.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, clinical experts, data scientists, and other PMs to build new feature sets and enhance existing ones 

  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, including appropriate escalation to Executives as needed 

  • Stay informed and monitor market trends and competitor movements to ensure product competitiveness.

Travel requirements

Frequent travel may be required to our main places of business.

  • Experience building, launching, and constantly improving a data analytics/SaaS/PaaS product

  • Track record of product development and launch that includes but not limited to developing initial product concepts, gathering requirements, supporting agile development sprints, planning initial and iterative market launches, user acceptance testing, performance analysis and end-of-life planning

  • Ability to do individual thinking for the development of product scope and product capability

  • Strong sense of customer service to consistently and effectively addresses customer needs

  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information and adhere to data security and confidentiality protocols and procedures

  • Proficiency with product and development management tools (e.g. Figma, Jira)

  • The flexibility to quickly adapt and produce in a rapidly changing environment, meeting aggressive product launch schedules 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or an equivalent technical field. 

  • More than 8 years’ experience in product management or related roles, with specific experience in health management service platforms. At least 2 years of leading a product team.

  • Ability to speak, read and write excellent English is required. The ability to speak good Malay to work with internal and external stakeholders is an advantage.
