The Head of Marketing is a key leadership role on Evidation’s commercial team, helping to drive our go-to-market strategy by building a bold, enduring brand. The Head of Marketing will lead a team of marketing professionals across events/field marketing and product marketing in order to deliver a clear message that reaches a wide range of audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and deliver a holistic annual marketing plan that supports the commercial objectives of the organization, encompassing PR pegs, thought leadership/research agenda, field marketing strategy (including sponsorships), and business development (BD) enablement plan
  • Build, lead, and retain a team of high performing marketing professionals as Evidation scales
  • Collaborate with corporate strategy and communications to refine/evolve our brand, and subsequently own its implementation throughout the organization, ensuring we maintain a consistent, high brand standard
  • Work closely with the BD team to align key efforts around lead generation and BD enablement
  • Partner with the customer team to develop a customer-centric marketing agenda, including a customer conference
  • Disseminate brand, customer, and product feedback across the organization
  • Serve as a leader of the Commercial team, being a responsible steward of our company’s values and placing the company’s goals above any function or team member goals

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eight to ten years of experience in enterprise marketing, with a significant emphasis on escalating responsibility and exposure to all aspects of a marketing organization
  • Prior work in creative, including brand and messaging
  • Experience with building out BD enablement including training
  • Direct experience with managing a marketing budget, including headcount and non-headcount resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • A proven track record in marketing to life sciences organizations is highly desired
