About the role:
We are looking for a Working Student Quality Assurance (m/f/d) to join our fantastic team in Berlin as we continue our growth phase. Ideal candidates have experience in the field of IT and are eager to join our cross functional teams.
As a working student quality assurance you will be responsible for our quality of delivery within our product and development cycles. You will be directly working within our development teams utilizing and building manual and automated test suites to identify bugs and help improve quality over all parts of our products and processes.
What you'll do:
- Perform manual testing of software products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Create and maintain test cases and test plans
- Report defects and track them to closure
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on testability
- Collaborate with other QA team members to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation related to quality assurance activities
You'll be a great match for the position if you have:
- Eagerness to learn and intelligence - you can quickly grasp processes and are especially eager to learn about them within a quickly growing start-up
- Fluency in English - German is a big plus!
- Enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects in software
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with manual testing (API, Backend, Supply Chain Management eg. Odoo) of software products is a plus
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
