Everlaw is looking for a Senior Engineering Operations Specialist to join our Engineering team! As a Senior Engineering Operations Specialist, you will be a growing mentor on our team that will build and maintain the processes and programs necessary to scale up our rapidly-growing Engineering team, as well as provide mentorship on the Engineering Operations team. Although this is not a technical role, you will be in a technical environment, leading work groups within our Engineering team to build cutting-edge software and designing processes that scale with us as we grow.This is a great role for someone who has a track record of successfully leading complex projects, has technical acumen in the SaaS space or full-stack software development environments, and has used data and metrics to inform your program design. This is a full-time on-site position located in Oakland, California.

In your role, you'll...
- Become product certified. You will learn the ins and outs of the Everlaw platform through a series of training modules and comprehensive practical exam.
- Help ship code! You will be participating in feature development check ins, guiding conversations with multiple stakeholders to run the lifecycle of the features being built, solving problems for the team as they arise and identifying problems before they develop.
- Learn, grow, and contribute right away. We trust that you will bring experience and knowledge that will uplift the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1. You will have time to develop your product knowledge and get up to speed on all aspects of Everlaw.
- Design operational processes. Whether it’s analyzing our recruiting needs or documenting best practices for planning and running team activities, you will be a primary point of contact for Engineering processes and programs, responsible for everything from inception to rollout to reporting.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve the Everlaw Engineering experience through the use of tools/automation and implementing process improvements.
- Use data to define and track metrics to inform decisions affecting the Engineering team.
- Optimize the use of technology and tools to make our teams more efficient and ensure they are able to scale as we grow!
- Develop your subject matter expertise for the team in the areas of project management, digital tooling and automation, data analysis, and process improvement.

- You can independently execute on large-scale projects, and teach others how to do the same
- You are a strong technical writer and effective communicator
- You are comfortable working asynchronously as well as collaboratively
- You are a team player, strong collaborator, and have a track record of successfully leading projects
- You can both internalize feedback and provide actionable feedback to others
- You can identify areas for process improvement and implementation plans
- You use digital tools to automate manual workflows and improve output for yourself and others
