The E-commerce data team is an embedded element that supports the greater E-commerce team with critical data insights and tools that are leveraged to determine business strategy, operations and performance. Your role will report into the Business Analytics Manager and work within an AGILE framework to iterate on projects utilizing JIRA. They’ll help with complex, multi-disciplinary projects using data warehousing and analytics expertise, manage project schedules, identify risks, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders. A team player is a must - someone who is eager to learn and is fascinated by data. 

This is a remote position and candidates should be based in either CA, WA, OR, OH, or TX.

Your day-to-day:

  • Analyze data to develop essential dashboards, reports, and tools informing customer engagement and retention strategies.
  • Lead the design, execution, and analysis of A/B and multivariate tests, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Oversee major projects informing growth and marketing strategies crucial to retention, lifetime value, and profitability.
  • Identify trends and patterns in datasets to attribute key business drivers and define performance metrics.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner on marketing outcomes and campaign optimization.
  • Present findings to internal stakeholders and leadership.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a similar role. Preferred degree in economics, operations research, mathematics, statistics, engineering, psychology, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in building intuitive and actionable dashboards and data visualizations (Tableau, Looker, or similar BI platforms).
  • Strong SQL capabilities, with the ability to write complex and optimized queries.
  • Skilled in deriving insights from open-ended business problems and tailoring them for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent problem-framing, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience in communicating with cross-functional stakeholders.

 

The Fine Print:

California Resident:  At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The annual compensation range for this role is $28.00 - $40.50 per hour. This range is based on the San Francisco geographic area and the actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
