YOUR ROLE
The Sr. Analyst, Healthcare Economics is responsible for supporting the transformation of care delivery by providing robust insights to the organization. You will be a key player in analyzing claims and clinical data to aid operations and finance leaders in strategic decision-making regarding expansion into new markets and development of resources needed to ensure Evergreen is a data-driven industry leader in the emerging field of kidney disease care management, maximizing positive impact on patients.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Compile, manipulate, and curate data that can be easily used for analytics
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and root causes
- Assist with IBNR, financial forecasting, and settlement calculations
- Assist in designing and building tools to help in trend projections, Value-Based Care modeling, and opportunity analyses
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate performance drivers of financial outcomes to both internal and external partners
- Support discussions with clinical leaders to identify action items
- Measure and evaluate financial outcomes of operational initiatives
- Succinctly communicate outcomes of various projects and analytics to leadership
- Create sophisticated presentations in PowerPoint
- Regular and reliable attendance

- Bachelor’s degree in data science, economics, finance, statistics, public health, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience working with healthcare enrollment and claims data
- Strong strategic, analytical, and creative skills with a history of tackling and solving complex challenges
- Strong analytical and modeling skills using Excel, VBA skills preferred
- Strong data analysis skills using advanced SQL
- Ability to identify inefficiencies, re-engineer processes, prepare an action plan, and execute
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for digging into processes to better understand them and communicate the big picture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions
- Demonstrated ability to follow best practices in order to organize, document, and review all work to minimize errors and risks to the company
- Ability to work independently and in a relatively unstructured manner
- Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite of products including Outlook and Teams
- You have the ability to work effectively in a primarily remote environment:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wired to the house internet (Cable, Fiber, or DSL) and hardwired to the internet device is recommended
- Evergreen will provide Remote or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephony applications and equipment to meet the business requirements for their position/job
- Team Members must work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000, with exact pay determined based on experience, education, demand for role, and other role-specific criteria.
