 YOUR ROLE:

As Director Infrastructure & Operations, you lead a team of technology professionals that oversee core IT platforms (network, telephony, end user computing, help desk, collaboration, cloud) supporting a broad constituency of Evergreen Teammates, patients, and nephrology partners. Your vision and experience will drive ongoing evaluation of platforms to ensure appropriate alignment of technologies to support Evergreen as it scales. You will be responsible for managing the budget of the team and looking for opportunities and cost efficiencies along the way. You enjoy getting your hands dirty and working with your team to accomplish the goals of the organization. You will work with Evergreen’s IT leadership team to prioritize and align IT resources to strategic growth initiatives, manage relationships with key vendors and partners, and ensure Teammates in-the-field receive the technology training and support services necessary to be successful while engaging with nephrologist partners and our patients. 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify appropriate team structure and headcount to support end user computing, telephony, network, help desk, collaboration, and cloud services
  • Develop a cycle of constant optimization with a focus on process and cost efficiencies
  • Develop and operationalize IT service management (ITSM) policies and procedures and appropriate tracking platforms
  • Oversee Tier-1 Help Desk operations strategy, platforming, and teaming approach
  • Maintain in-office (e.g., conference room) collaboration and A/V enablement strategy
  • Evaluate and (re)align value-added reseller (VAR) relationships
  • Negotiate hardware and software vendor fulfillment and support agreements
  • Improve equipment procurement and provisioning lifecycle processes
  • Develop and implement best practices for the use of Microsoft M365 platforms (email, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Partner with InfoSec team to ensure I&O platforms implement security policies and controls.
  • Improve identity management (de)provisioning in partnership with Human Capital and InfoSec teams
  • Develop mobile connectivity strategy and implement platforms to enable field teams operating remotely
  • Partner with Central and Clinical Operations leadership to identify appropriate end user computing and peripheral device models supporting Teammates in various roles and locations
  • Oversee physical site security systems selection and management
  • Manage physical site network circuit ordering and vendor management
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned, including cross market coverage as needed

HOW YOU QUALIFY:

  • Seven (7) years of experience in IT infrastructure management
  • Five (5) years of experience working with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
  • Five (5) years of technology experience from within a healthcare organization
  • Five (5) years of experience overseeing projects or programs requiring the integration of cross-functional technology and/or business solutions
  • Five (5) years of experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
  • Five (5) years of experience with telephony/contact center solutions
  • Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft cloud-based services (Office365, Azure AD, Azure)
  • Three (3) years of experience managing Tier-1 Help Desk function
  • Three (3) years of experience managing end user computing procurement and provisioning processes
  • Three (3) years of experience managing network operations and circuits
  • Three (3) years of experience managing operating and/or capital budgets
  • Three (3) years of experience as a people manager
  • Ability to manage budget spending/forecast through managers to meet functional objectives
  • Stakeholder management skills and the ability to define and communicate the data strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven understanding of healthcare privacy and security practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite of products including Outlook and Teams
  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wired to the house internet (Cable, Fiber, or DSL) and hardwired to the internet device is recommended
  • Evergreen will provide Remote or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephony applications and equipment to meet the business requirements for their position/job
  • Employees must work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000, with exact pay determined based on experience, education, demand for role, and other role-specific criteria.
