About the role

We are seeking a driven, results-oriented individual to join our growing People Operations Team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of payroll, compensation and benefits activities to ensure our ability to attract, retain, and advance our employees equitably, while providing a competitive package to support their success. Key success factors in this role include an eye toward revolutionizing the way we work and a proven track record of accomplishing goals through collaboration and automation. Through partnership across the organization, compensation strategy, employee relations activity, and attention to detail, your contributions will directly and positively impact our growth.

This role will report directly to the People Operations Manager, and will also work in close coordination with our Finance Team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing payroll to ensure accurate deductions, withholdings, benefit contributions, and other related items are reflected and processed in a timely manner.
  • Management of employee benefit plans, renewals, open enrollment, COBRA, and ongoing activities relating to health and other employee benefits plans.
  • Employee communications, problem-solving, and strategizing to successfully resolve employee issues and questions.
  • Management of relationships with brokers, consultants, insurers, and vendors to ensure timely customer service and accurate, cost-effective, plan administration.
  • Strategic planning for compensation and benefits changes in line with regular market assessments to ensure employees receive competitive compensation packages.
