About the role

Everactive is seeking a leader of manufacturing and global supply chain based at our Santa Clara office. Scope of this senior role will include coordination of product development and launch with engineering, ramp-to-scale manufacturing, ongoing manufacturing infrastructure buildout, managing the global supply of our system, component and subassembly relationships, as well as process, tooling, and other projects designed to improve productivity.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and grow our manufacturing and global supply chain teams.
  • Develop and implement an organizational vision for building and delivering products at scale.
  • Develop OEM, ODM and CM manufacturing strategies that address the needs of supply chain and manufacturing.
  • Design, develop, and deploy resilient supply chain models to ensure busines continuity and risk mitigation. Ensure timely delivery of sensors, gateways and other hardware in committed quantities.
  • Own and lead the management of component and manufacturing partner relationships.
  • Partner with engineering for prototyping, pilot and production launch of new hardware.
  • Partner with quality assurance to ensure world class hardware quality at component, subassembly and system level.
  • Co-lead (with engineering) the failure and root cause analysis
  • Work across product teams, IT, and partner teams to deliver tools, systems, and processes to decrease work friction and improve company productivity.

You have:

  • At least 10 years of direct management experience in an electronics component and system supply chain operation, such as an ODM.
  • Outsourcing and manufacturing operations experience for hardware products that includes an understanding of factory and manufacturing systems and tools. Demonstrated knowledge in multiple manufacturing models.
  • Product lifecycle experience in new product launches, product ramp, sustaining support, and end-of-life for hardware products at scale.
  • Track record of identifying, developing, and promoting talent. Demonstrated experience in hiring, training, and developing source and supply chain teams.
  • Experience in setting vision and executing reliably in challenging environments.
  • Experience in transforming business systems, models, and achieving results.
  • Demonstrated skills questioning the norm and chessboard thinking.
