THE ROLE  

As an Eventbrite SDR, you are the first touch point for our prospective sales clients in North America. You’ll play a critical role in generating demand and excitement for Eventbrite, working closely with Account Executives and Demand Gen Marketing teams to create a growing pipeline of qualified opportunities for Eventbrite Sales.

As an SDR at Eventbrite, you will use effective strategies and proven processes to understand prospect’s diverse event needs and goals. You will identify potential sales qualified opportunities through inbound and outbound techniques, uncovering key information about their current challenges and future objectives, and effectively communicating how Eventbrite and our partnerships team can set them up for success.

YOU WILL

  • Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions while representing Eventbrite

  • Exceed monthly and quarterly goals by consistently surpassing activity metrics and converting qualified leads into new opportunities for AE pipelines

  • Act quickly on inbound sales inquiries and other warm leads from marketing, using buyer-centric outreach messaging through outbound phone calls and emails

  • Manage and answer daily incoming calls on the Sales Phone Line, following defined processes and talk tracks to qualify new sales opportunities, redirect other calls efficiently, and utilize downtime in between calls for additional tasks.
  • Contribute to an effective feedback loop by working with Sales and Marketing teams to refine strategies/processes and drive stronger outcomes

  • Build and maintain a robust and accurate lead pipeline, completing all follow-up tasks on time and scheduling future touch points if not yet qualified

  • Deeply understand the needs and challenges of our potential clients, tailoring Eventbrite’s solutions and next steps appropriately

  • Follow a clearly defined qualification process to align opportunities with required criteria and expectations

  • Immerse yourself in the event and ticketing industry, utilizing insights to enhance outreach strategies and expand your lead pipeline

  • Actively seek and quickly implement feedback for continuous self-improvement and professional growth

  • Engage in professional development opportunities such as 1x1 coaching, enablement sessions, and self-review practices

  • Maintain balance between being a collaborative and supportive team player and a driven and competitive individual contributor

  • Be a fully present and active contributor to maintain our motivated and engaged remote sales team culture

THE SKILL SET

  • 1+ year of experience in sales, with a record of consistent quota over-achievement

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to execute a high volume of outbound activities each day (cold calls, emails, etc.)

  • Fearless ability to engage with prospective clients

  • Consultative sales approach - maintaining strong call control and effective objection handling, while following qualification process to determine key criteria

  • Genuine curiosity and a knack for asking impactful questions to uncover pain points/goals

  • Extremely organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Positive attitude/mindset, and genuine enthusiasm to take on new challenges and/or help improve internal processes

  • Eager and ready to learn and adopt winning techniques to advance in your career

  • Passionate about live experiences and contributing to a high performing team

  • Strong understanding of how to qualify a prospect’s interest and identify target clients

 

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with Salesforce, Groove, and/or Genesys

  • Experience with Google Drive (i.e., Google Meet, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Google Calendar, and Gmail)

  • Prior experience in the live events/ticketing industry

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Eventbrite, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in Eventbrite’s incentive program(s) (such as equity, annual incentive bonus and commission plans), subject to the applicable rules and restrictions.
