THE TEAM

The GTM Business Systems Team is responsible for providing thoughtful solutions to solve our stakeholders' challenges.  We are passionate about GTM tools and align ourselves as the trusted-advisor to our business as it relates to the GTM Tech Stack.  Our focus goes beyond the day-to-day support of user requests and platform management and reaches into being proactive in thought leaders in which tools Eventbrite should leverage and how they should be leveraged to support our GTM.

THE ROLE

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Salesforce Developer. The Salesforce Developer, reporting to our Salesforce Manager, will be responsible for designing and building technical code based solutions or integrating 3rd party applications within the Salesforce platform to support our business. They will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement Salesforce functionality to meet those business needs. They will be responsible for ensuring a smooth operation of the Salesforce platform, data management and system maintenance. This role requires strong technical expertise in Salesforce development, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.  This role will also be responsible for helping support our tech stack.

YOU WILL:

  • Responsible for developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components and other technologies to build customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
  • Develop technical solutions to support business functions. 
  • Design and implement complex Salesforce solutions using best practices and industry standards to ensure system stability and scalability of Salesforce applications.
  • Provide technical leadership, code review, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
  • Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
  • Lead the design and development of customized Salesforce solutions to support business processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, triggers, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices, and recommend solutions to leverage them effectively.
  • Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce and other tools in the BizSys tech stack in support of the business. 
  • Manage 3rd party integrations.
  • Develops test plans and protocols for evaluation of system performance. 
  • Prepares and maintains system documentation.
  • Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. 
  • Coordinates system upgrade activity.
  • Platform support/management of other applications that integrate with Salesforce or support the GTM Teams (Hubspot, GEnesys, Groove, etc.)
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder business processes and how those processes leverage the applications supported by the GTM BizSystem Team.

THE SKILL SET:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2+ years in a Senior or lead role.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce development tools and technologies, including Apex, Java, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, SQL, and SOSL.
  • Hands-on experience writing Apex classes, triggers and custom code.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration using declarative features and tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flow Builder, Salesforce Connect, REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Deep knowledge of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API’s.
  • Demonstrable analytical skills to evaluate how changes to the Salesforce platform will affect current business processes.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end users.
  • Extensive experience in the development and maintenance of Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, analytical and communication  skills.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Knowledge of other systems (Hubspot, Genesys, Groove a plus)
  • Platform Developer 1 Certification.(Preferred)
