Your mission

As Analytics Implementation Engineer (f/m/diverse) you design and deliver the tracking services for collecting and managing customer journey data for all digital touchpoints. Moreover, you constantly balance the needs of stakeholders from business and tech with requirements regarding tracking effectiveness, page speed as well as data privacy, and IT security.


Your tasks

  • Your technical tracking concepts lay the foundation for a smooth implementation process where tracking is always in place at go-live 
  • You are responsible for effective tracking of the digital touchpoints leading to cross-functional decision making 
  • You spot broken trackings and improvement points early and take over the troubleshooting process 
  • You collaborate closely with our Solution Architects to bring our tracking approach to the next level 
  • You actively challenge views, decisions, and ideas through #powerofproof
  • You find a balance between creating business value as quickly as possible and keeping sight of stability and longer-term quality

Your profile

  • You have a strong Adobe implementation and analytics background (or similar) as well as strong consulting experience
  • You have at least 5 years of Web Analytics, tracking experience with implementing Web Analytics using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or any other web analytic tool using multiple touchpoints and data sources
  • You have experience with tag management systems such as Ensighten, Tealium, Adobe DTM / Adobe Launch (now Tags)
  • You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in front-end tracking engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries, SPA and micro frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS, VueJs, etc.), HTML5, and CSS
  • You have experience working with attribution platforms like Exactag
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, frameworks, and technologies
  • Experience delivering code in large complex Digital Experience development organizations is a must, including the development of solutions for mobile and/or desktop experiences
  • Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting JavaScript Code and Frontend performance issues


Nice to have: 

  • Experience working with SQL databases and Business Object Reporting Tools
  • Knowledge using data feeds, streams, integrations with Analytics, TMS, and Audience Manager
  • Experience with EDDL
  • Experience in Data Privacy / Data Protection (handling sensitive data)
